I have a 1997 Ford Ranger with a 4.0L V6 and a engine code reading that the bank 1 engine is running too lean. I have already replaced my mass air flow sensor and my EGR Valve. Any ideas of what else could be causing that engine code?
you should check that both HO2S are switching high and low, and both should be replaced at the same time, with identical branded sensors
a vacuum leak can also cause it, as can a restricted fuel injector
