boat engine cover plate

I have a 91 Ford 3/4 T 4 w/d diesel trk that has a failed engine. What fits? What about a gas engine ?

My Trk is too nice to abandon and I wondered if the Auto trans bell hsg would be compatible with any other possibles . My engine has 150 K miles and has a sand hole in the left rear cylinder . I understand that this is a problem that is sometimes encountered

To convert from diesel to gas would require an all new fuel delivery system, and I have no idea what you'd have to do with the wiring and computer. How about getting a remanufactured short block from a big name like Jasper ?? If there's a weakness,
