my 56 chevy with a 350 engine will not start?

i have a 350 chevy engine has gas to carb and spark / but the sparkplugs are dry whats wrong with my engine?

When was the last time it ran and what was done to it since then?

Check your timing. If plugs are firing at the wrong time, your car will not start.
