9 Minutes of Fame
The developer of Twitteroo, a program to post messages to Twitter.com without using a browser, also maintains a site called 9 Minutes of Fame. At the site, every nine minutes visitors get a chance to submit the address of a blog and the first user who does so will have the RSS feed of their site displayed for next nine minutes when the process begins again. Why am I posting about this site? Currently, 9 Minutes of Fame has a 2 or 3 PageRank (depending on which Google data center you are pulling PageRank from). For SEO, anything below a PageRank of 4 is usually not worth the bother, but if the site grows and it’s PageRank grows with it, it may be something you will want to consider participating in to get your new sites going. Of course, as the site grows, it will become increasingly difficult to submit your blog before someone else!
