What are the simple differences between engines?
Obviously there are no simple differences:
If you were to take a hot rod engine, a rice rocket engine, drag racing engine, F1 engine and a NASCAR engine, put them all in a spread sheet. What
The classic hot rodder starts with three basic changes. One is to raise the compression.
Second they increase the bore of the cylinders which adds displacement. Third they add to the stroke by regrinding the crankshaft. It is called stroking.
