Can you drive a 93 BMW 325is w/o a thermostat?
Its overheating alot, and smoking sometimes but cant trace where its coming from. I just had the waterpump/impellar, thermostat, and radiator replaced... could it be that my head gasket is blown?
Yes, you can drive it without a thermostat, but I'd suggest that more for Summer than for Winter -- in Winter, you need to keep the water in the motor from mixing with radiator water till the motor heats up -- it will eventually get warm without a stat,
