I want to rebuild my altima alternator to hold more amps...A stock alternator holds 100 ampsso I want to rebuild it to hold 150 plus amps......
Yes, but the reason you typically rebuils an alternator is to replace fried diodes & regulators, and worn bearings and brushes. In order to get more current out of it, you'd have to add more windings and that takes up more space. Neither the rotor
