What octane fuel should I put in my 80cc 2-stroke engine?
Jul 28, 2011 by Zach S | Posted in Motorcycles
I recently purchased an 80cc (actually 66cc) 2-stroke enginekit for my bicycle am was thinking that 93 octane would be best but I have heard otherwise. Should I just run 87 octane? What would be the difference and why would lower octane be better for
I've found that higher octane fuels don;t really do that much :/
In all fairness, use good quality oil and use the cheaper fuel option. Higher octane fuels don't add too much noticable power, if any, and so normally aren't worth the extra
