Ive got a 1985 ford escort...one day ACCIDENTALLY I inverted the battery poles...and started the car..the car didnt start!! just cranked (starter motor in reverse right?)...after that BIG MISTAKE...the battery died and when trying to hook a new battery...nothing
the best and most easy way to test the starter relay is through substitution. It can be bench tested using wires and a test lamp.
